Mei Tai construction

It is important to me that all my products be durable and put together in a manner that would be safe for my own child, therefore also safe for your child. MeiTai's are typically used for babies and toddlers up to 35 pounds.

Here is a completed MeiTai. It has a padded head rest area and padded top straps for the area of the straps that go over your shoulders to keep momma or papa comfy as well. The inside of the MeiTai has a solid panel the same color as the straps.

This photo shows the detail of the bottom strap at the point where it meets the blanket of the MeiTai. There are 3-4 lines of stitching holding the bottom strap onto the blanket of the MeiTai.

This photo shows the optional sun flap. This is simply a piece of the fashion fabric that is sewn into the head rest piece. This fabric can be draped over the head of your sleeping tiny one.

Each of the top straps are sewn into the headrest piece and then a box of stitching is added for additional strength at the connecting site.
